A - No Product Discussions

Abbott Nutrition Health Institute is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the California Board of Registered Nursing Provider #CEP 11213. In addition, we’re a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accredited Provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). CDR Credentialed Practitioners will receive Continuing Professional Education Units (CPEUs) for completion of these activities/materials.

For this reason, we cannot initiate, sponsor or be included in discussions about Abbott or competitor products. If you have specific product questions, please contact your Abbott Nutrition sales representative for more information.

We will immediately remove all product-related discussions from our forums.

B - No Pornographic or Sexual Material

Sexually explicit discussions and content are not acceptable to our community and are strictly prohibited.

C - No Profanity

The use of profanity is strictly prohibited, whether in titles, forums, blog posts, or anywhere else across the ANHI Community.

D - Posting Email Addresses, Websites and Phone Numbers in Forum Threads

Users may not post URLs in any form until they have made at least 10 legitimate posts and have been with us for more than 7 days.

After you have made 10 legitimate posts, you may post websites within posts to direct other users to valuable resources (more on this later).

If you want to include your email address, website, or phone number for people to contact you, please put this information in your signature. ANHI.org reserves the right to remove any email address, website or phone number that has been placed in our message posts as a means of contact. We have this rule to protect your privacy, and to make it more difficult for bots, data scrapers and other unwelcome sources to access your information.

As a general rule, don’t disclose any personal information you don’t wish others to know.

E - No FAO (for the attention of) or Goodbye Posts

Personal discussions or "for the attention of" posts are prohibited. Please use your private email channels for this purpose. In addition, please refrain from "Goodbye Forum" posts in forum threads.

F - No Impersonation

Do not impersonate or attempt to impersonate other forum members, moderators, or administrators. In addition, do not post email addresses, standard addresses, instant messaging client numbers, or phone numbers you don’t own. The creation or use of fake user accounts is strictly prohibited.

G - You Must Disclose Your Relationship with any Company, Website, Guru, or Other Entity that You Comment About

If you participate in a discussion about a company, website, guru, coaching program, etc., and have any kind of relationship with that entity (e.g. affiliate, partnership, employee, owner), you must disclose this relationship in your post. ANHI.org reserves the right to publicly or privately ask about your relationship with any company that you comment on, to remove any post that doesn’t disclose such a relationship, and to close your account if you fail to disclose such a relationship.

H - One Account Per User, Please

ANHI.org users are limited to one account per person; users may not register or use alternate accounts.

I - No Abusive Behavior

By using this service you agree not to post or otherwise transmit any material that is knowingly false and/or defamatory, abusive, hateful, harassing, obscene, sexually explicit, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law. ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR INCLUDES POSTING IN ALL CAPS! It is bad netiquette, and can sometimes come across as rude.

J - Do Not Flame or Troll

Flaming, flame-baiting, and trolling are not allowed anywhere on this site, including in posts, signatures, and private messages. Flaming is directly insulting another member, flame-baiting is making a comment with the intention of getting a flame as a response, and trolling involves starting arguments or upsetting people by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages with the intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

K - Remember - All Members are Equals

Treat all ANHI.org forum members equally, whether they are a moderator or an average member. Do not single out a member because they have a low postcount or a low status on the site. In addition, do not personally attack members who violate these rules. Instead, report the member or post to a moderator or admin.

L - Respect the Staff

If a staff member tells you to stop doing something, stop. Never attack the staff directly. If you disagree with any action taken by a staff member, please contact the administrator privately.

M - No Email Harvesting

Harvesting email addresses from our site is strictly prohibited. Do not harvest email addresses from ANHI.org forum users.

N - No Poaching or Polling

Diverting ANHI.org forum members to competitor forums or websites is strictly forbidden. Polling our forum members to gather information to be used on a competing site, course, podcast, book, blog post or video is strictly forbidden.

O - No Affiliate Marketing

No form of affiliate marketing is allowed on ANHI.org. That means no posting affiliate links in messages, in your signature, in blog posts, or on your profile. Hiding affiliate links through services that provide short urls is also forbidden.

P - Posting Images in Threads

Screenshots, photographs, and other images you want to embed in your post must be no larger than 640 x 480 pixels. If your file is larger than that, please resize it or simply link to it.

Q - Stay On-Topic

Posts in a particular forum need to stay on-topic and must relate to nutrition science. If you want to talk about something that is drastically removed from a forum’s topic, please create a new topic.

R - No Religious or Political Postings

Religious statements and threads on the topic of religion are not permitted on ANHI.org. Please don’t use a religious quote in your signature, or anywhere else on the site. Political threads are not permitted on ANHI.org. Any post or thread regarding politics will be removed. ANHI.org reserves the right to delete any post or thread that may contain political commentary.

Remember, the ANHI.org community is a nutrition science forum, not a forum for religious or political debates, discussions, or proselytizing.

S - No Thread Killing

Thread killing disrupts the flow of conversation on ANHI.org. If you aren’t happy with a post you made, you may remove it only before others have responded. Do not remove a post once others have responded to it.

T – No Spamming

Spam is strictly prohibited on ANHI.org. Spamming is characterized by the initiation of threads or posts that contribute nothing to a forum, whether on or off-topic. Examples include: advertisements, empty posts, posts with few words that have no relation to the current thread, promotion of your website or product in any thread other than the classifieds, and those posts that state they are Spam, either to annoy or to increase a member's post count. Posting the same message across several threads is also considered Spam, as is filling your post with keywords with the goal of attracting searchers (keyword stuffing).

U - Off-Limits Ad & Solicitation Types

Posts or messages including chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any kind of Ponzi scheme are not allowed on our site. Promoting or marketing properties that you have no contractual or ownership interest in is also strictly prohibited.

Profile images may not be used for promotional purposes. This means no ads and no company logos. In addition, users are strictly prohibited from using the following as a profile image: Photos depicting any person other than yourself; images you are not authorized to use under copyright law; sexually explicit images; unprofessional images; images that make a political or religious statement

ANHI.org administrators may, at their discretion, modify any link contained within our forums.

ANHI.org's forum voting system was created so members can recognize others who have made valuable contributions to the community. ANHI.org may in its sole discretion remove any content for any reason or no reason at all. In addition, ANHI.org may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to parts of or to the entire ANHI.org website if you violate any of the community rules and regulations or terms of use, or for any other reason, in its sole discretion. ANHI.org may take these actions at any time, without liability to any users.

ANHI.org's failure to require performance of any provision of these rules and regulations or our Terms of Use or to exercise any right provided for herein will not be deemed a waiver of such right provision or such right. All waivers must be in writing. Unless the written waiver contains an express statement to the contrary, no waiver by ANHI.org of any breach of any provision of these rules and regulations or our Terms of Use or of any right provided for therein will be construed as a waiver of any continuing or succeeding breach of such provision, a waiver of the provision itself, or a waiver of any right under these rules and regulations or our Terms of Use.

Our forums and blog discussions are moderated, and moderators or administrators may close or delete a thread at any time and for any reason. Once a topic is closed, members are not allowed to start a new thread with the same topic. All questions or remarks regarding closed or deleted threads must be e-mailed privately to the Forum.

It is your responsibility to maintain a current, valid email address in your registration information so that our moderators can contact you in the event of a policy violation.
